Rules

• No food, water or aid given outside the Check Points (CP)
• Stop and assist any injured runners
• Pass runners on the left side and announce "On your left" before passing. 
• Have your timing chip scanned at the CP (once for the 12km, twice for the 20km) and race Finish

Refunds or transfers

• There are no refunds for any reason including event cancellation. 
• The event will only be cancelled or postponed due to T8 or Black Rainstorm and Lantau Base Camp Ltd. will make every effort to reschedule the race to a later date. If the registrant can not make the rescheduled date, the registrant acknowledges that no refund will be granted.  
• Transfers are possible through [email protected].

Aid / Water 

• LBC will provide water at the CPs and finish area. We will also have a first aid trained volunteer at the CPs and the finish line.  Although there are first aid team and water stations on course, racers should make every attempt to carry their own aid / fluid replacement systems while on course. 
• NO water will be provided before the race so show up with full bottles/hydration systems
• LBC has a 'NO CUPS Policy'.  You will need bring water bottle or water bladder with you when at the check points to get water. 

Participant Waiver

• By signing up Lantau Base Camp's race, the registrants acknowledge participating at their own risk and hereby for themselves, heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims no matter how arising they may have as a result of having participated in this event including without limitation and negligence. They expressly confirm their understanding that the participation in this event is entirely at their sole risk and that the organizers and sponsors of the event, and their respective officers, employees, agents, and all volunteers or other persons engaged in the production of the event or other wise associated with it shall have no liability for any damages sustained by them or any injury or loss, including personal or property loss, which they might suffer.
• They acknowledge that their image may be recorded (by video or photograph) during the events. They agree to the use of their name and image in broadcasts, newspapers, brochures, promotional material and other media without compensation.
• Lantau Base Camp has its own public liability insurance.  This does not include personal accident of participants.  We recommend that you have your own personal accident cover.
