The 2018 Lantau Trail 70 Race starts at 8:30am on October 27th, 2018
For Solo Runners and teams of 4 relay runners
Starting from Mui Wo, Lantau Island, the Salomon Lantau Trail 70 is a semi-self sufficient race with six checkpoints and 4 relay exchanges for relay runners. The race takes place over varied terrain, from rough, steep mountainous single track to flat concrete footpaths and covers the whole 70km (3300 D+) of the Lantau Trail.
Changes in 2018:
In 2018 we will add an extra CP at the entrance of Chi Ma Wan, lightly stocked with water since not far to go. This should help ensure everybody follows the official trail since in the years before this turn was sometimes missed.
The other CPs will be fully stocked with food and liquids and are spread evenly at Ngong Ping, Tai O, Shek Pik Catch water (L076) and Shui Hau.
The Lantau Trail 70 is a Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® qualified race.
