The 2017 Salomon Lantau Trail 70 Race starts at 8:30am on October 28th, 2017
Limited to 440 solo runners and 15 teams of four relay runners
Starting from Mui Wo, Lantau Island, the Salomon Lantau Trail 70 is a semi-self sufficient race with four checkpoints (or relay exchanges for relay runners). The race takes place over varied terrain, from rough, steep mountainous singletrack to flat concrete footpaths and covers the whole 70km (3300 D+) of the Lantau Trail. The CPs will be fully stocked with food and liquids and are spread evenly at Ngong Ping, Tai O and Shek Pik Catch water (L076) and Shui Hau.
The Salomon Lantau Trail 70 is under application for an official point qualifying race for 2018 Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®.
